Over the past 6 years WordPress has steady grown in popularity into the most used Content Management System (CMS) on the web.

There are a number of reasons why WordPress is so widely used and such a great choice for a CMS:

1. Ease of Use: WordPress is not only easy to use for administrators to manage content, install plugins, and themes but also for developers to create new themes and plugins.

2. Modular Design: WordPress is built with modularity in mind, the code is clearly organized and easy to build upon using themes and plugins.

3. Vibrant Community: Since its inception WordPress has had a great community of designers, developers and administrators supporting the platform.
